♥ Today my family and I went to the NDP preview. Its my first time going to NDP and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The experience of actually being at the stadium is thoroughly different from watching it at home. The atmosphere and feel of personally being at the parade is incredible and totally immerses u in the spirit of celebration.

Firstly theres the goody bag. Its as good as any goody bag u can ever find filled to the brim with goodies. After a slow start in which some singers belted out songs, the main events started at 6. Thats where the fun begins. The awesome parachuting and military power display excited the crowd and got them hooked as the events rolled in one by one. With the majestic marching and performances by all the uniformed groups and powerful singing by the bands, the crowd was totally captivated and enjoying every moment of it. Sadly, there were no real MPs around as this is just the preview. When the commentator was announcing,"Now for the arrival of the president...simulated", everyone was laughing their ass off.

Throughout the NDP, there were beautiful displays of special effect, shining lights and fireworks. Near the end of the parade, the stunning fireworks simply took the breath away, followed by an emotional singing of the national anthem and recitation of the pledge. It marked the end of an unforgettable NDP that was a wonder to behold.
